On Thursday, Day 3 of

EPT Copenhagen saw just seventy-three players return to Casino Copenhagen to continue play in an attempt to narrow down the field until there was just three final tables of eight players for the last day.

The Swede's continued to dominate on Day 3. Per Linde was second in chips at the end of Day 2 remains in the top echelon of players on Day 3 with 1,622,000 chips. It really came as no surprise, Linde's live results have been very good, doing well at EPT Barcelona and EPT San Remo 2010.

Linde saw his stack grow drastically when his pocket kings held up against JP Kelly's big slick. He got the money in with the best of it and his kings won the pot, which saw his stack grow to over the million chips mark. As soon as Linde was deep stacked in the last levels of the day, he changed gears and managed to knock out several short stacks.

Michael Tureniec, the chip leader leading into the day, is still right up there with one of the biggest stacks. His stack received a hefty boost after knocking out Fernando Brito. Brito opened to 12,000 but Tureniec decided to 3- bet from the button. Brito tanked for a while before deciding to call. The flop came down Ts-Kc-Js and Brito shipped his remaining 35,000 into the middle but Tureniec called with pocket nines for an under-pair which gave him a gutshot, dominated by Brito's A-J for middle pair and a gutshot. Brito was in good shape, until the 9h on the river.

Among other notable players at the top of the chip leaders at EPT Copenhagen was Team PokerStars Pro Florian Langmann, finished Day 3 with 1,304,000 chips.

It didn't take very long for the bubble to finally burst. Dennis Bjerregaard's pocket queens ended up losing to Ørjan Skommo's big slick, improving his hand with a king on the turn.

The aggression didn't slow down as soon as the players were in the money either, and several Team PokerStars Pros exited the tournament, including both Lodden brothers and EPT Barcelona winner Kent Lundmark.

On Friday, with the field narrowed down significantly after 3 days of play. The play will continue until the final table is reached, which will decide the eventual EPT Copenhagen champion.
